The MARCHON™ Standard

The MARCHON™ Standard

DON'T SETTLE

At MARCHON, we don’t settle for mediocrity and neither should you. We believe that premium supplements should meet the highest standards of quality, efficacy, and transparency. That’s why we developed the MARCHON Standard: a promise to deliver supplements that support your health and performance without compromise.

There is a fine line when it comes to innovation. We do not jump on the latest trend or fad and we are late adopters with certain ingredients ensuring the evidence is robust enough for us to include in a product. However, the goal is to consistently move the needle and produce products that serve a real purpose.

OUR STANDARD

01

Science-led, evidence-based innovation:

Every formula we create begins as an idea, sparked by a desire to solve real challenges in health and performance. From there, we subject it to a rigorous research and testing process to ensure it’s not only effective but also tastes great, is safe and complements the current range.

02

Efficacy, transparency and trust

Clinically relevant doses and complete disclosure of ingredients, forms, and rationale so you know exactly why each product exists. Every product is subjected to further testing for banned substances, purity and potency.

03

Quality without compromise

Non-GMO, gluten-free, often vegan-friendly, and manufactured in trusted, accredited facilities to guarantee safety and consistency.

OUR GOAL
To create supplements you can trust and that serve a real purpose. Whether it’s enhancing recovery, boosting performance, or supporting overall health, our products are built to help you live a life without limits. Our commitment to excellence doesn’t end there. Each product undergoes three stages of rigorous quality checks and is manufactured in facilities that adhere to the highest industry standards.

OUR TESTING PROTOCOL

01

Raw Ingredient Testing

Before any ingredient enters our trusted manufacturers' sites, it undergoes comprehensive testing to verify its identity, purity, and potency. They test for heavy metals, microbiological contaminants, and ensure each raw material meets its specifications.

02

Third Party Testing

Independence matters when it comes to quality assurance. That's why we work with a third-party laboratory to conduct unbiased testing of our finished products. These independent facilities verify that what's on the label matches what we say, alongside microbiological and heavy metal testing,  giving you complete confidence in every product.

03

Cologne® List Accreditation

This Cologne® list accreditation ensures our products are screened for substances prohibited in sport, providing peace of mind for competitive athletes and anyone who values the highest standards of supplement safety and compliance.

Cologne List®

Cologne List®  FAQ's

The Cologne List® is an independent initiative that publishes products that have been tested for banned substances by a world-leading anti-doping laboratory. Supplements on the Cologne List® have undergone rigorous testing to help ensure they are free from substances prohibited in sport. For athletes and active individuals, this provides an extra layer of trust. It reduces the risk of unintentional doping, which can occur through contaminated or mislabelled supplements. Research has shown that around 28% of supplements pose a potential risk of unintentional doping. Athletes and their teams must be aware of the potential issues associated with the use of dietary supplements.

What does it mean to be on the Cologne List®? Plus

It means a product has been tested for a wide range of banned substances by an independent laboratory and found to be free from contamination. This reduces the risk of unintentional doping.

Why is it so important? Plus

Dietary supplements - unlike pharmaceuticals - do not go through an official approval process. This means, that no regulatory authority checks the accuracy of the label or the safety of the contents before they are sold to athletes. Cologne List® is an international quality management program that uses independent product controls to minimise the risk of including banned or doping-relevant substances in dietary supplements. Cologne List® provides orientation and greater safety for test pool athletes, as well as recreational and amateur athletes.

What does it mean to be on the Cologne List®? Plus

The label check of the original product packaging and an analysis for anabolic steroids and stimulants at the Center for Preventive Doping Research at the German Sport University Cologne (CePreDo) at least once a year must be passed without complaints. In addition, the company provides information on the risk of contamination in a self-disclosure and contractually undertakes to refrain from misleading advertising (e.g. doping-free, etc.)

Are the products on the Cologne List safe? Plus

From an analytical point of view, there can be no safe products, as no laboratory can test for all substances banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency WADA. The focus in the analysis is on anabolic-androgenic steroids and stimulants, as according to previous studies these substances were responsible for most contaminated and counterfeited dietary supplements. However, the continuously developed screening program also detects other banned substances.

Therefore, the publication of a product on Cologne List® does not mean that a product is basically free of doping substances. It does mean, however, that the product has been independently controlled and thus the risk of doping is significantly minimized.

In principle, products that have passed the label check and undergo regular laboratory analyses by a recognized anti-doping program such as Cologne List® have a significantly reduced risk of containing prohibited substances.

Can I check batch numbers of products? Plus

Yes you can. Each batch that we have tested will be linked on the site. We are committed to testing all batches of our products that are used regularly by teams and athletes.

In addition to this our contract manufacturers have Informed Sport Manufacturers accreditation. Another layer that adds to ensuring our products are safe and compliant.

Third Party Testing FAQ's

Why does this matter? Because what’s on the label should match what’s in the product. Third-party testing helps verify that:The formula contains what it claimsNo harmful contaminants are present (like heavy metals, pesticides, or microbes)
What does third-party tested mean? Plus

It means an independent lab (not owned by the brand or manufacturer) has tested the product for purity, potency, and/or contaminants.

What do they test for? Plus

Labs typically test for ingredient and nutritional accuracy (does the product match the label), heavy metals, microbes (like E. coli), banned substances, and sometimes allergens or solvents.

Why isn’t every supplement third-party tested? Plus

Testing is expensive and time-consuming. Many brands skip it to save costs. But those who invest in it demonstrate a higher standard of quality and transparency.

Can I see the lab results? Plus

Yes. We make our Certificates of Analysis (COAs) available for every batch we test.

Is third-party testing required by law? Plus

No, it’s voluntary. But in a largely unregulated industry, it’s one of the best ways to prove quality and safety.

What labs do you work with? Plus

We use RSSL and Eurofins to perform our testing.
