Our programme is 5-6 training days per week, each lasting between 60 and 90 minutes. The programme is progressive, meaning that it is designed to account for your improvement over time.
Specific Skill Development
You’ll have a focus on the specific technical skill mastery that is required to compete at a high level.
Muscle Endurance
The programme will help you build the muscular endurance required to handle the volume of training and competition.
Absolute Strength Progression
You’ll develop your absolute strength progressively, through comprehensive periodisation with dedicated strength training.
Energy System Training
You’ll improve both your aerobic and anaerobic capacity so that you’re ready for any competition requirement.
Competition Readiness
We’ll get you ready for the Open or any other major events with strategies to taper down and peak on event day.
How does the Compete Programme work?
You’ll train 5-6 days per week with sessions lasting between 60 to 90 minutes. All sessions are delivered via the MARCHON™ App.
You’ll follow a structured approach with our Expert Coaches’ support to align with your competition schedule.
You’ll work on the key physical attributes which are specifically required to train and compete efficiently.
You’ll learn how to strategise and manage your efforts within the chaotic environment of competition.

You can start the programme at any time, but it is structured for you to peak around major competitions such as the Open.
Whilst you can run this programme alongside other training plans, we do recommend that you run the Compete Programme on its own, due to the specificity and volume of the training you’ll be doing.
